The annual Arrows & Antlers banquet was another great success. Once again, the spread of wild game was absolutely incredible! This year’s menu featured a variety of whitetail venison, black buck, antelope, elk, bear, wild boar, wild turkey, pheasant, and assorted fish! A special “Thank You” is in order for Gary Merkes, Dennis McDonald, Randy Rice, and Travis Johnson for all of their assistance in the kitchen to make sure we all enjoyed the meal!
We had another great year of generous sponsor donations and door prizes, along with our specialty raffles. The Mathews Phase4 29 bow was won by Travis Kernen, the Mission Crossbow set was won by Brian Srb, and our annual beer/booze/cooler raffle was won by John Gross.
We also raffled off $6,000 in cash prizes, given away as (12) $500 prizes – those winners were: Jake Hanson, Logan Haefner, Brian Safford, Travis Johnson, Tommy Kempfer, David Benrud (2), Mike Schirmang, Matt Fink, Orion Barbic, CJ Ortiz, and Travis Lentz.
We had a solid year of buck entries, with 14 officially entered into the contest. The results were: 1st place – Brian Srb (144 1/8), 2nd place – Dan Hanson (139), 3rd place – Joey Schweppe (137 1/8), 4th place – Zac Schoenberger (134 4/8), 5th place – Aaron Gross (132), 6th place – Mark Wolfgram (125 2/8), Tie-7th place – Adam Gross (121 6/8), Tie-7th place – Dan Hellenbrand (121 6/8), 9th place – Mark Cuff (114 1/8), 10th place – Kris Hellenbrand (111 6/8), 11th place – Fran Kilian (105 7/8), 12th place – Nick Schroedl (104 7/8), 13th place – Steve Will (93), and 14th place – Shawn Arnold (89 6/8).

The membership fee for the upcoming season is $50, and the majority of our members paid their dues for the 2026 season – for those who didn’t, your $50 is due by August 1st, otherwise, your membership is forfeited to a new member. The waiting list is ever-growing, so please get your dues paid as soon as possible. Remember that guest spots for the 2026 banquet are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, for $40 each, paid at the door.
