Thanks to Covid, our normal annual banquet was canceled. It was replaced with a make-shift, informal gathering of those that entered a buck into the 2020 season contest. The day provided an opportunity to be socially responsible, while offering a way for the buck entries to be fairly measured so that payouts could be accurately determined and distributed.
We had a great year of buck entries, with 15 initially entered into the contest (14 present for official measurement). The results were: 1st place – Zach Hampton (167), 2nd place – Tim Rozinski (162 3/8), 3rd place – Aaron Gross (158 1/8), 4th place – Mike Wolfgram (152 6/8), 5th place – Clif Otis (139 6/8), 6th place – Mike Stader (139), 7th place – John Gross (137 6/8), 8th place – Gary Merkes (131 1/8), 9th place – Dan Hellenbrand (125 4/8), 10th place – Kris Hellenbrand (121 6/8), 11th place – Mark Wolfgram (121), 12th place – Zac Schoenberger (118 7/8), 13th place – Derek Schmidt (117 2/8), 14th place – Jimmy Zbigniewicz (101 5/8), and 15th place – Steve Will (unknown score – disqualified for absence).
The membership fees for the 2021 season will roll-over from the 2020 season, due to our inability to provide a banquet to the members. We anticipate hosting a banquet again to celebrate the 2021 season on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
